My late brother had a series 2 . I gave up looking for one the series 2 k2 LX ltd edition bikes must of been rare

Yes I believe they where bead media blasted also the polished option too

Finally Out of storage going to be a little winter project finally decided on upgrading the groupset to Lx thinking laser 400 rims and a few period bits of bling

It sure is mate no worries at all. That’s pretty much what I did got a few touch up pots and went for the closest match Ral 5002 ultramarine blue looks a closer match to yours I think?

I would say the Ral 5005 is a more solid blue and your frame looks to be towards a lighter metallic finish. Raleigh seemed to use a lot of tones of blue and having no record of what they used it’s very difficult to find a exact match without trying a few 👍🏼
