    Expensive, possibly optimistic, but lovely.

Proper road-path iron! Grd eyes on rear drop out, v similar positioning to a c.1955 Carlton I once had. Seat stay looks a bit skinny for a brake drilling! It's rather nice, but price seems optimistic to me. And I'd want to check b/b shell and chain stays/ Bridge internally. Once upon a time I...

    Project bike recommendations!

Thanks! A little unconventional front ends/cockpits - swept back bars and thumbies for my arthritic hands and fingers. Upright ride cos I'm 75!

What are your retro bike plans for 2024.

End compulsive buying of almost-what-I-want bikes and consequential tinkering and throwing good money after bad. Settle for what I have. More importantly, hope my health doesn't deteriorate any faster than last few years and that I am still alive and riding at all in 12 months time. Accept the...

BoTM Bike of The Month December 2023 - The vote

Difficult. My usual "which would I want (to ride)" filter gives a clear winner, but it fails on aesthetic grounds (tyre colour). Too low front ends fail the "rider" test. So, one of the 2 oldest appropriate - guess I am one of the oldest voters! All are a credit to their builders and to RB. HNY.

Sold Trek Multitrack 7900 reduced £300

Too far and too big, else that would be my year's spending money gone in January! GLWS.

    Saracen Tufftrax 1995

Bought F&F and drive train. Added spare wheels from Kileaua, raised front end and just cabled (something to do on NYE when a non-drinker). Cables left way too long because cockpit may change. I think might make a good weather tow path "racer" for my old body!
