Anybody know what this Raleigh is and is it any good ?

IME the "K2" frames deliver a properly comfortable ride! Bargain.

    My bikes.

Very nice Royal. I had an immaculate one a few years ago, rode very well. Jo seems, as always, entirely relaxed about the ever increasing fleet!

    Ruined? Hei Hei

Lovely. If forks worked and tyres not too big for proper clearance....I would be interested.

Not sure why but that was my immediate thought - I did have one once but can't remember details!

What Retrobike "feature" do you avoid when looking for bikes?

    Elevated chain stays. Just WRONG.

BoTM Bike of The Month March 2024 - it's voting time

Unusually, not one to spark my "oh, I would like to own that!" trigger. Makes choosing even more difficult......

    One bike!? What is it?

^ "It's interesting and quite heartening to see so many of you on higher bars on your " one bike". I assumed I was in quite a minority.....and most would still be on a more level/ dropped bar." Presumably says something about the group demographics!

    One bike!? What is it?

@Ren Rawbor "not only you is right. I'm only 43 so a mere nipper compared to many but my body's getting very much to the point where backswept/high risers are enticing." Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but you'll have to adapt gradually to get through the next 32 years!

    One bike!? What is it?

I thought only I am old enough, but, no, lots of uprights with swept back 'bars....Not my only bike but would be had I to choose!

    Today's Ride

Changed to drops yesterday, so faced the slight drizzle. Nothing failed on 26 miles trail-test, so it'll do, although will stick a 9 spd on back to match the indexing. Why would one not have front bounce on a "gravel bike"?

    Today's Ride

What an excellent ride in amazing scenery/landscape. I am very envious.
