    Anybody built a mullet?

I did this to my 650b Ritchey and it was a real upgrade with the 29"wheel in front combined with a 100mm Fox32. Still good in tiny curves and was way better over obstacles.

RM supported the Amateure league in CDN mostly wird Steel frames later with AL too. I don‘t know who welded them. Chis did labour work for RM after he left them, specially in steel frames.

    1991 Lightning Flash Restoration JB0090

That is not the main point for a try you could mix it up. The bottem part of the ball bearing is the same or could be used as a junit of its own. In the worst case you have to remove the top out of the frame and put a a-head ball bearing cup in there. Just try if the bearing and cup from the...

    1991 Lightning Flash Restoration JB0090

If the steering diametre and length will fit give it a try. It is a double butted fork than but this gives you an idea and there is not to much of a difference. Keep going Martin PS I think the colours of the M3 will match the Marin well

I always look for tribble-butted Marin forks, they are a nice ride and a real chance to find. If you combine them with a 2.3 wide tire you are close to the suspension forks from that age. By the way I would go for the Ritchey set up.... Have fun while building and riding Cheers, Martin

Manitou 1's - missing internals! What do the missing parts look like?

Don"t forget the rebound rubber inside the upper legs.... M2-parts could fit too, just a guess. This was the same technical solution than the M1, they changed from M3 to the up side down inner parts. Good luck Martin

    Quick early Manitou fork question

Depend on the frame you want to mach there is a chance of switching head-sets. Or try to find a pipe inner 1" and outer 1.25" diameter together with a a-head set should work.
