Re: Its a great idea Neil, but i fear many a great thread has been distroyed by the Photobucket situation. A few of my all time faves from memory though: WD-Pro's Marin Bear Valley Build - Real attention to detail. Learn to Shred like Ed, etc - Ed's educational threads which taught us nothing...

Re: Looks nice and fresh, nice find. No issues with these or the steel estays tbh. There was a factory recall on alloy stems for that era, so if its got one of those fitted think about changing it, but from the pics I think its a steel one fitted to yours.

Re: So many great memories, but the highlights all include RB's great people and big characters. If I was too be pushed to name my favourite memory it'd be OWMTBC in North Wales, my face ached (from laughing) for 3 days afterwards.

Re: Re: It sure has FC, however all is not lost. I've set up a Facebook page called 'all things alpinestars mtb'. All the pictures, brochures, etc are currently being uploaded there. I've got folders full of pictures so it may take sometime to get them all up.

Re: 6 years since my last HoNC, so decided to have a go this year. Won't be fit enough for the 100km route but will do the 50km route. Thinking of riding my cross bike for a change also.
