    Claud Butler Spectre

If my memory serves me correctly, that is a 1992 model and that was the alternative colour that year.

Original except... Gt Karakoram on FB Marketplace

I can't see the listing, but as you say if it has double eyelets I'm pretty sure it is not a Karakoram. Does it have an integrated seat clamp? It happens: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/late-1980s-gt-karakoram.329060/

    For Sale VFR750

This deserves a good home! I would have been tempted, as I wanted one when I was younger. There's a few smaller bikes that are higher up my list of "to try/own" though and having the loan of a more reent VFR1200 makes me more incline to try some more different alternatives. Good luck with the...

I agree, but in my case I have owned a few in the intervening period. My last bike in the UK before I borrowed the VFR1200 and bought the Hornet 250 was a Honda SL350, but I've owned/ridden a few in Indonesia since then.

I just spotted this and thought it's an interesting choice of model name

    Nice old Scapin

Not quite the same, because that one is double ubrake with the rear on the seat stays (and I guess the Campagnolo is not original) but I imagine it's the version that replaced this one.

    Bikes and Pylons

Got a few old photos of my Corrado when I still thought it was a Richter 8.0 with some good pylon/substation action:

I used to have a blue SZR. I loved that bike so much - I was tempted to get another now I was set on getting another but decided I should try something new.

Help please - Aluminium GT serial numbers

I think the first one is later. M02 start could be 2002? Nice Zaskar!

    Nice old Scapin

I can't help much with spec for these, as I haven't seen a catalogue from that early or a very original example. The DX rear mech could be original, but I've seen them with all sorts. Probably either DX or XT, but era correct Campagnolo would make a nice build.

Help please - Aluminium GT serial numbers

If it is, it doesn't match he other 1996 serial formats I have, as hey are all SY# where the # is the year, but it is possible they changed during the year, or had different models made in different places.

Help please - Aluminium GT serial numbers

I don't reallt have enough data from the later years to confirm the year from the serial. From what I have seen 95-96 serials tend to start SY and 97-98 serials just S, but I don't have any other SAS recorded. Maybe someone else knows more about the Sanfa serials.

Help please - Steel GT serial numbers

Is the second character definitely an A? Usually, the second character is a number. I'm not that well-versed in the later ones though, so that might not always be the case.

    Sold SKF Isis BB

I think this is the right size for my FRM cranks. I was going to check, but I'll take it please as a potential upgrade and if it's not right it can go into the large BB collection.
