    Wicked cyclery Prince Albert info

Lol rear light is already gone. It's got a 27.0 seat post in it now, might try a 27.2 next time I'm down. Will certainly bring down a suitcase full of parts and tools. Only tools I had available was a set of standard Allen keys and a tape measure... I'll need a fork with an 8.25" steerer...

    Wicked cyclery Prince Albert info

Looks quite similar to the older 1993 ish dean cable lay out. Bullet stays but older pre colonel cable layout rather than the side saddle top tube routing. It desperately needs a shorter stem and regular seat post. Not a fan of the suspension post. Rear hub has some play, I'll have to remember...

    Wicked cyclery Prince Albert info

Lol yeah, the original ad was just the second pic on my first post. Had the PO send some closer pics to confirm what I thought. Guessing the aren't many of these around as it was just a small bike shop in Phoenix dealing and selling them.

I snagged it. And those were the sellers blury photos. It'll need some parts swapped out, but it'll be slow going as it'll be staying as my vacation pavement pounder at my relatives house.

Definitely a TST. Serial checks out to be similar to some Dean Ti frames. Guessing the mtbr post was correct that these were extra frames made for Dean that were not needed and sold to Wicked for their own branding.

Trying to pick up this bike locally, waiting for a response from the seller... Anyone have any info on them. This mtbr article is about the only info I've found so far. https://www.mtbr.com/threads/prince-albert-ti-any-others-out-there.601514/#post-6708163 If you've got any other info, post it up!

Restoring components. What have you done lately?

I passed on the rust remover as I heard it stains the steel black. Brass wire wheel (steel could have been faster) and some rubbing alcohol to add contrast to the stained bits. I used 2 batteries for the drill and went through a full brass wheel, I'll go back over some of the previous springs...

45 minutes per brake... Sure I could get new springs. But can I really?

    Boulder Bicycle Defiant?

A little necro post, but there's been one in my neck of the woods for sale for a while. Slightly odd build, I guess it's a quad suspension. Serial: 014

Don't be an ol'g(r)eezer: What grease do you use?

Green grease 101. NGLI 1.5, very waterproof, tacky. New and older bearings get fully stuffed. Slickoleum/slick honey for fork seals.

    1998 Kona King Kikapu

Nice bike! I had a 96 sex one, same frame design, loved it. It did eventually crack at the seat stay/swing arm bolt. Very small but it was the sign I needed to retire it. Still have an old bolt/bushing set kicking around. Upgraded it multiple times, great ride. Great choice in the fork, mine...
