Got to love an aquafade.:cool: Don't think the price is bad to be honest as it'd cost as much to buy a frame needing repair, the forks and the paint job before you add on the price of fixing the frame. Basically, it would cost you more to start from scratch.

Have you had a look at what Marin have available mate? I had a Four Corners a few years back and one of those converted to flat bar would be just the job. Or an Orange Speedworks?
