    Campag EPS Battery Refurb/Re-cell?

Thanks gfk, do you know of any info online? I’ve re-celled a battery before (although not bike related) and can try it even if the new battery is outside the power unit then wired to the voltage-in point. The units dead so nothing to lose in opening it up.

    Campag EPS Battery Refurb/Re-cell?

Anybody done this or know anyone doing this as a service? Seems a good idea if possible as the batteries from Campag are crazy money 😵

Fat Chance, what length fork will work?

At ‘93, depending on the model, you could have either shorter rigid geometry (circa 390mm fork length) or early slightly suspension corrected (circa 405mm rigid fork length). The head tubes are shorter on the suspension corrected frames for a given frame size. About the max you can go travel...

    1992 Specialized S-Works Cross

If you’re having trouble with Roadie brifters on an MTB triple, why not try either a road triple shifter/mech/chainset combo (can often get them with a 74mm bcd inner ring), or use chainline spacers to narrow down the gaps? Or even a low ratio double - I’ve built a few bikes with normal road...

    Titanium Fat Chance Saratoga built

Haha shock horror amazing bike rides great. Hope it brings you lots of enjoyment, which it will! Love the “steel is real” on the Ti, it was engineered to ride like a steel bike and that’s exactly what they do. Panolgano - the Yo is exactly as you describe and it’s supposed to be. Try a Ti or a...

Using Sugino/Spa triple crankset as double

Well all frames vary for chainstay clearance, and bear in mind the crank bolt torque will affect how inboard it sits, but I’m successfully running one on a modern roadie frame (30c rear tyre clearance) that’s likely wider than your Pug, as a 24-36-46 triple, on a Stronglight cartridge 103mm JIS...

Using Sugino/Spa triple crankset as double

Hey Ugo I’ve got a fair bit of experience with this chainset - what bike is it going on and what ratios do you want to run?

For Sale 1993 Fat Chance Yo Eddy frameset L

I think when the BOI fork came out they started transitioning mainly to that. I’ve never ridden either fork sadly but assume the BOI was softer with the 1” legs than the older Yo with the 1-1/8” legs. I’m guessing your fork has the 1-1/8” legs? Both amazing forks.

For Sale 1993 Fat Chance Yo Eddy frameset L

Looks to be a non suspension adjusted fork, some Fat frames/forks in ‘93 were, some weren’t. Same with the Yo Eddy fork/Big One Inch fork - Yo frames got spec’d with both around this period but you probs know all that jazz. It’s all super nice, wish it was mine 😍

Wanted Wanted: Black Chris King 1-1/8” headset or upper cup

In decent condition, but doesn’t have to be anywhere near mint. Full headset preferably or even just the upper cup if you have one kicking about after destroying a lower 🤷🏻‍♂️ Must be serviceable bearings, don’t mind having to clean and regrease, but no ruined cups please. Threaded or non...

    1991 Marin Team Titanium

Absolutely awesome. To me, this is like a titanium version (with a lot of upgrades!) of my first MTB which was a ‘90 Palisades. And that is by no means anything other than a compliment as that Pali was amazing! I’d imagine this rides pretty incredibly. Great work sir 👏
