Re: I had the pleasure of meeting Ibbz went I went to pick up a very nice pair of Mavic wheels I'd bought from him. We spent a pleasant hour or so chatting about... errmm .... bikes. A splendid Retrobiker and from what I saw in 'the cave' he really knows his way around a build. Top Man 8) :D

Hello All, Quando rear hub on commuter wheel. Is the freehub bolted to the hub by a hex bolt from the NDS? If so, what size hex key does it take? Thanks, Mike.

Re: Copper grease for things like pedal threads, BB threads and as already mentioned things that might need to be undone after a while. Car type grease on things like hubs, seat posts, quill stems, headsets etc. Think I've got some Halfrauds and a tin of Comma knocking about in the garage.

Re: Hi John, the 21s take a single long elastomer in each leg while the 21Rs take a stack of five in each leg similar to Judys. I'll see if I can get some measurements and /or pics over the weekend. Cheers, Mike.

Hello All, I was just lubing a chain and realised that I've been using Finish Line for some years and wondered what else Retrobikers have been using. What are your favourites and which are the ones to avoid? All information gratefully received. Thanks 8)

Re: I'm happy to say that I've never had any problems on Retrobike :D Members have always been helpful and in general a pleasure to deal with including the occasions where a touch of haggling is involved. I tend to deal with established members who are often ones I've dealt with before. Yes...
