Re: i've now, via extensive googling research ascertained that it is either 1992 or 1993 - BB prefix was definitely for a 1993 bike, but that bike was mtb - that bike has all the documentation with it year of manufacture etc, so did BB account for 1992 also possibly, maybe some crossover? A...

Re: thanks for the feedback. It has a top tube sticker which i should have mentioned - 401Ti - it has rack-eye braze-ons on the drop outs. The headbadge is the blue black one and it has the little herons head in it top right.

picked this up for 150... lovely condition. minor retouch to an inside of a fork leg,very minor loss on bb, but otherwise looks like new! needs a clean up, especially the transmission. apparently built up from frame only - spent most of its life in the northern peak district. Cinelli...

alluding to the clear frame saver patch on the headtube one would assume...

I might well get this resprayed eventually, but i'm determined to get it built up as is in the time being, and try and patch up the paintwork. What do i need to do to these areas to get them ready for the paint? you can imagine the fun they had at the bike shop getting the seat tube and bb...
