Hi folks, I'm restoring my old Dawes Galaxy, which I bought in 1980. It will need a second respray and new decals. Does anyone have a 1980 Dawes catalogue? I want to be able to identify the decals carried on the seat tube. Many thanks

Thanks for your advice and offer of help; I may well end up taking you up on your offer. I am hoping it will be straight forward. My next post will be on the subject of decals etc which I'm sorting out before I sort out a new paint job. Best wishes

Yes, that's a very good point. At some point all the paint has to come off for a proper re-spray so, as you suggest it would be as well to find out now rather than later. Time for some aggresive sanding I think... Regards
