I've seen a few similar which are from 2004/05. Just weighed frame with just the bottom bracket... 1.7kg. It is an amazing frame. Normally not too keen on aluminium but this feels really special.

I managed to find wheels from a donor bike... love the red spoke nipples. They even had a really nice pair of Marin Lite tyres. Only taken out for a short ride - but is great. Really light and responsive. Looking forward to many more longer rides. I think it probably owes me about £100!

Growler79 really kindly gave me an 94 Marin Lite saddle with the red rails. It had quite a big rip and some small holes. I've tried repairing a few saddles now and I'm getting better at it.

The new decals arrived from Retrodecals. I dug out a couple of Marin Lite bottle cages and painted to match - was starting to come together.

Derailleur’s looked terrible - but actually cleaned up pretty well. I normally coat cleaned chrome in Owatrol Marine Oil. Seems to help here... I'm right next to the sea.

Always selling bikes in various condition. I'd imagine that someone didn't like the red... it's a shame because I've been after those wheels - but it is strong money in that condition.

For a 94 Marin Eldridge Grade. I'm wondering if there are any around... Trying to decide whether to go original or find something else similar. Bike will be ridden - so trying to be practical. Cheers

+1 for the filled tubes. I've been running Slime inner-tubes for a few years. I've not had a flat since doing that.
