    Thanks again. I have 53t and 30 something on my crankset and was offered the 14t to 18t freewheel. I haven't cycled for over 6 months now. Worth a go or too much like hard work?

    Thanks for the info. It appears I will have to look at eBay, etc or there is a company called Wheels Manufacturing that has an axle that may be suitable though from one purchasers criticism its not perfect.
