Cheers Shaun for the reply, I want to remove it to replace the bearings and to touch up the paint work, I could do this without removing but would be better if I could remove to do a full refurb on it .

Hi all, I have just purchased what I believe is a Raleigh team cadet 10 (1984 onwards I think ). I am in the process of stripping it down with the intention of giving it a good refurb. I've managed to remove everything except the fixed part of the bottom bracket. I've left it soaking in wd40...
