I just took my old specialized hardrock to france as a touring bike and the bottom bracket creaked every day it was hot weather. can anyone think why that would happen? should i replace it? :?

I bought these forks on ebay but they didn't come with the screw in v brake bosses. Does anyone have any going spare?

measurements? hi I'm interested in the frame but could you send me the exact measurements... where is the 16 inches measured? c-c or c to the seat post clamp? What is the length of the top tube? And does it have the fittings for a pannia rack?
