I think the levers were shrouded in black rubber (where your hands would lean on to ride) and did not have the horizontal levers just the vertical ones.

Hi all, Trying to find out the model of a Raleigh Road bike I had in the late 80’s. It was a sort of powder blue (forks and front of frame) and white, with white handle bar tape. Basic gears and brakes. I really don’t think it was an Equipe because of the colour but can’t find anything anywhere...
