1993 Marin Pine Mountain The GF's grandfather had this piece of history in his shed, which some forumites have helpfully identified as a 1993 Marin Pine Mountain. I've been perusing fleabay and various other sites in the hopes of benchmarking a price, but.... now... again, Im reverting to...

@Coomber, if I 'hold onto' another bike the GF will flip. Im a bit addicted to rockhoppers, including a 2001 that seems to enjoy eating rear mechs (this may have something to do with the magnetic properties of trees in Stanmer park).

Ahaaa, thats grand thanks. Narrows the search on bikepedia.... i was muttering comments about bashing it out to some student, but that seemed a crime when I felt its weight and saw the running gear. anyway, back to the search, thanks again :)

I've been asked to shift a bike for the GF's grandfather. Apparently knowing which bit is the saddle and which are the wheels defines me as an expert ;) Anyway, other than perusing bikepedia, can anyone offer sage words of wisdom on how to find out the year for the BSO. Its an old Marin...
