Re: Not quite the clear photo I was looking for but I did find two images of one-piece headtube Villiger TVT's from 1991 (Suntour Superbe). Laurent Dufaux in the 1991 Classique des Alpes: Erich Maechler(?) in the 1991 Tour de France:

I thought I'd also seen the one-piece headtube with Suntour Superbe but indeed only found one online with Sachs:

    How old is my Peugeot?

According to velobase RSX 7-speed is 1995 to 1999: "RSX was introduced in 1995 and was positioned below the 105SC and the RX100 group sets. The original RSX series was 7 speed & later modified in 1999 as an 8 speed group."

    Black & Gold

Yes, either make them all-black or, better still, ditch them alltogether and get ordinary black cables. They ruin what would otherwise be an excellent looking bike, something I wouldn't have thought when you started... Also agree on changing the bar tape to black...

    Mid-1970's seatpost in 27.2mm

A SR Custom seatpost would certainly be an option. Those should have been around at the time and I might even have one in the right size. The more sophisticated Campagnolo Nuovo Record style SR Custom would be another option.

    Mid-1970's seatpost in 27.2mm

Re: The original Laprade brand was French. I still have one somewhere in its original box. Sakae later adopted/bought the name to designate a single bolt seatpost AFAIK.

    Mid-1970's seatpost in 27.2mm

Can any of you recommend me an appropriate seat post for a 1974 Gazelle Champion Mondial with mainly French parts (Simplex Prestige derailleurs, Stronglight 93 crankset, Mafac Racer Brakes, Lyotard pedals). I know a Simplex would be nice but these seem rare in 27.2mm. I do have a French Laprade...

Anyone got a spotless pair of Dura Ace FC-7400 (or 7402) cranks in 180mm length he wants to split with?

    losvizzero feedback

Bought a used DA seatpost from losvizzero. Very happy with it, I had to look hard to even see that it had been used. Thanks!
