I picked up an Orbit Gold medal this year and it certainly shares quite a few features with your frame.... Also the frame number of mine - 853020 - is similar format. Also have the overhanging seat stay tops and the canti brakes.. Loving the pink! Bold.

Something quite satisfying about stripping / rebuilding these Campagnolo mechs. Couldn't resist a component photo too...... Before/After:

So.... failed in the quest for finding another brake nipple barrel, and as it was holding up build progress I got one made. Pressed into the lever - seems to work well. Both levers cleaned up and built up ready to fit. Next - the derailleurs! Filth.

After being sorted for one of these barrels I now see that the other one is cracked. So.....I need another if anyone has a lonely lever or even just the barrel going spare - drop me a message. Cheers!

Had a rummage in the cleaning cupboard at home last night and dug out the oven cleaner...... Anodising stripped nicely ready for either full on polish or some sort of brushed finish (if I can achieve it well enough). All the other brake lever parts in the ultrasonic cleaner to prep them...
