Re organised the storage last week. Still no closer to rebuild :-( here is a cheesy pic of the rear canti bridge :)
Pic no. 2 is my other Condor MTB - a very early MTB with Deerhead on it. Funny how these things turn up on the other side of the world.....
Holy ancient thread resurrection :) I'm incredibly ashamed to say the bike hasnt been touched since I bought it :-(
Thinking the group might end up on my NOS Colnago Master MTB and give this a rebuild with some M73xx
Holy thread revival :)
If you still have this bike would it be possible to see a non drive side pic to see how the left side dual drive cable routing runs? Thx
I also bought a '96 Kila new, but i was working in an LBS at the time, so we got them at 50% of RRP. Easily one of my top 3 bikes owned. Sold it for more that it cost, and replaced it with a Muni Mula, which was far more inferior :-(
absolutely stunning :-)
I'd be keen to see a pic of bike on small - small and large - large chainring/ freewheel combo to see what that mech looks like at full capacity. I have a road one I'm thinking of using on one of my Suntour builds......
Re:
Lovely bikes
I sold a bunch of em in my LBS days. Some of the last UK built ones (last year UK built 1997 IIRC )
And a great back story too :-)

Re:
Nice A La Carte
Re the Thomson stem, they have replaced two 25.4 stem faceplates for me in the last couple of years (without receipt) FOC
The cracking appears to be a known issue.
