I found a complete Stumpjumper FSR locally for $150 USD with RS Judy's and mid range Shimano components. It is the exact same frame as the one pictured but in black. Anybody ride one of these? I'm deciding between getting this or spending more and getting a GT LTS.

Sounds about right. To use a 7sp cassette on an 8sp body, you have to use a spacer, so going the opposite makes sense... I've seen hubs with and with out removable spacers.

I had one, very nice bike. If memory serves it had Columbus tubing. I also had a '91 & '92 Fisher Supercaliber, Easton 7005 AL tubing ( I cracked a headtube on the '91 and Fisher replaced it with a '92). The Procalibers show up on eBay every now and then. Can't recall what they go for, but...

Anybody use these? Do the headphones sound good and do they stay in place? Been thinking about getting a pair as I sometimes ride with my iPod, but the headphone cable sometimes gets in the way....so with these at least I would not have to worry about wires. Opinions please...
