Any chance of getting Risse shocks serviced in Europe/UK?

CVI have long gone. They are not difficult to service, but I have never found a couple of the seals anywhere but from Risse, and obviously things like replacement shafts can only be bought direct. I know Danson67 has sent them back to Risse for a service in the past, may be worth getting in...

    It's not all bad news

I find it interesting that the hacker group Anonymous have said they will respond to the terrorist threat to ensure free speech. Sounds like they plan to prevent one groups free speech to protect it for the rest of us. Will they disrupt systems that terrorists use for communications where...

Very well equiped Pro Flex with BIN.

It's got a replacement locknut which has a screw in it to clamp it in place, stops the headset coming loose so easily. Seem to remember it being called a Gorilla something or other. Worth buying to swap out the wheels at the current price.

    The u-brake is b-a-c-k (and it's mad!)

I'm in the disc revolution is coming camp. In this years TDF there were some comments that some of the crashes were the result of inconsistent braking on carbon rims.

Peugeot Magnum f+f Columbus Cromor £44 posted...

I'd be a little wary of them being Logic forks. I bought an identical looking Cromor Magnum a couple of months ago and mine came with Tange forks.

Sort of decided to to park at st ives and ride along the busway, have a mooch around the city centre area, then may or may not try to get to trumpington before they ride past. Todays crowds make me think that bit won't happen however!

    Casting Polyurethane For Replacement Elastomers?

Well, the compound I am thinking of getting is 60A, which from a bit of googling sounds like a medium fork elastomer. I like the idea of casting as drilling and cutting soft polyurethane is tricky. Just hunting around for a good mould now.

    Casting Polyurethane For Replacement Elastomers?

Anyone tried to cast their own elastomers? Seems like plenty of people have done it to make custom engine mounts and suspension bushes. Other than the hardness, I'm not sure if all 2 pack polyurethane is the same and whether it is all suitable. Was going to get some of this for a play unless...
