    1992 Trek 8700 composite frame

Re: Man, this hits a soft spot for me! Ok....so where to begin?! The fork is a Tange Big fork, the OE rims were Matrix singletracks with Deore DX hubs. There was an option to go with a Trek/Tioga DDS3 fork but those pop up once in a while but only on this side of the pond. You are right in...

Re: The shifters have been changed, the front brake looks like a Deore LX. And I think you're right....a bit pricey. I sold my frame and fork for under $100CDN.

    1994 Yeti ARC

Re: KK....I FINALLY finished it. I put it on the backburner for long enough! I did change two things on it! I went with an Answer A-Tac stem instead of the Ringle and I opted for the Ringle Slamma Jamma in black over the CK silver headset. I was tired of seeing it sit in the...

Bike of the Month May 2015 - VOTE NOW

Re: Re: So would it make a difference right now if I took a picture, with the pedals on it to prove that I have ridden it? I have no issues with that and if that is ok with the admins I can do that. No disrespect to any of the RB'rs out there!

    Rocky Mountain Cirrus 1992 project

Good call! It took me over a year to find the Syncros 1st gen post that's on my Experience. But I found a RF XY post about 2 months after I obtained the frame.

    Rocky Mountain Cirrus 1992 project

Not sure about this, but may be something worth exploring. The seat tube collars were absolutely horrendous for cracking though. I think in Vancouver i've come across about a dozen of them and 8 of them have had a cracked seat collar (includes Experience's as well). I'm not a...
