From the pictures you've posted it only seems like surface damage, scuffs and scratches etc. so, personally, if it's a good bike & rides well, I'd clean it and leave it as it is.

While saving for the falcon frame blasting and respraying. Thought I'd keep myself occupied with this. I know its a bit scruffy in places, but I'm happy enough with it. Question is though, should I cover it with laquer now? or will it be ok as is? [/img]

Just sourced the Falcon headbadge I was after from Jake at VBC. Real nice guy. I thought I'd just promote their site, seem to have some good stuff at reasonable prices, however, I am still new to all this so some more experienced members might shoot me down on that point but I hope not...
