Take a look at this bike - advertised as a 'Condor / Paris Galibier racing bike'. The transfer on the bike says 'Gallibier'. In the description . . . 'Not sure if this is a Condor or earlier Paris Galibier'. What do you think ? Take a look at the pics and look at the headtube...

That's a very good question, IMO. Frankly, I've not seen them before. Would the frame have come from the builder (in the first instance) with the rear rack built on ? Or is it likely to have been a (slightly) later addition ? I wonder who built this frame, it looks to be well thought out and...

It's very shabby indeed; be interesting to know, what the frame was originally. Even if the new owner knows it as a fake, what about subsequent owners ? With the best will in the world, it is quite likely, that in the not too distant future, someone will buy it, believing it is a 'real' Colnago.
