yes, my point is the fake stuff is terrible obvs, their own brands though, not as bad, LTWOO actually has an Austrailian importer, and Wheeltop is distributed in France, my logic being, it can't be that bad. does make me wonder
while i agree with @bikeworkshop in regards to "if it's too cheap etc", and i think it's very true when looking at known brands but i was down a rabbit hole on youtube the other day looking at LTWOO groupsets and Wheeltop stuff, it is alot cheaper than the big names, and i would say it comes out...
BETD is the parent company, they still do some Goldtec badged stuff, they also bought Middleburn

ok, so years ago i had a Muddy fox Alu Pro, see pics, yes that my skinny self! think it was a 19", is it a 1990? 1991? either way if you have one that you are willing to let go, frameor bike that would be awesome, any condition considered as it's bound to get a repaint!
have heard a bit more info, apparently the parent company had been pulling money out gradually, when the poo hit the fan it was while the main guy at Iride was out of the country, rumour is another UK company will get the Orro brand.
sorry, haven't read the whole thread but my view is anything that restricts these awful hunks of crap is a good thing as far as i am concerned, i hope other websites will follow suit.
odd mix of bits, i'd say the front mech is stx or stx-rc as opposed to mavic though, i think i have a spare nickel stalk post around if you want a hint of originality.
ok so a few more days in, got up this morning which is now much easier, decided to walk 1 mile in to village for a cafe breakfast, then the mile back stopping to see some people on the way, managed that without too much of a problem, so i'm gonna have the rest of the week off then go back to...
With the anti histamine the rash has now gone down so that's good.
Sent for a walk this morning, was out for about 45 minutes, that was tiring but I'm pleased I can do it. Will be a a nap now!
Can I just point out that it looks like the hub is only half laced, I would usually, like others recommend using a vice and turning the wheel, but in this case with a half laced wheel you could twist the rim
Had another nurse appointment to get the dressings changed, massive rash on my back that I didn't know about, well I thought it was a little itchy but didn't think much of it. Turns out I'm allergic to something, not sure what, only happened in the last 2 days. Very odd. So now on anti histamine...
well my old 142x12 pro2 evo, best option for interchangeability, as 135qr or 142x12 or boost conversion to 148x12 so depending on the hub you can do all the 3 main sizes
Just an fyi, I think I'm right in saying that a standard 135 qr hub from hope can be converted with end caps, so you can widen your search if you're happy getting end caps if you come across a qr version
went for a walk, what i did should take about 5 mins, took about 20mins, got in slept for 3 hours!!
defo feeling better though overall, got an appointment tomorrow to have dressings changed at the local health centre, will try to walk again after that. it seems amazing to me how much sleep i...
thanks chaps.
so today i got up, had a shower etc, had some toast and relaxed for a bit, had to nip to the shop with my dad to sort the electricity reading (otherwise it would have been a pain) after this i wandered around our street but it had made me tired so i went for a lie down. cut to 6pm...
so that article is pretty firm then, i didn't really deal with them to be honest. if you weren't an orro dealer they didn't have much that you couldn't get similar elsewhere. as always though i'm guuted for the staff
