It is definitely a 1999 model, the last of the true clockworks before the model was discontinued.

Hope replaced my master cylinder under warranty.. No quibbles. Leisure lakes sorted it all for me. :wink:

When I had this problem I just poured boiling water onto the spaces.. the aluminum expanded and a quick whack with a hammer removed the spacers..

I've seen a guy on a Zaskar riding through Pride Park occasionally?

They aren't wrap around mounts, they are mounts that bolt in behind the brace (front or rear). When you get them you wil find a little square spacer on the lower brace bolts. The comes out and the canti mount goes in. I bet Tim (justbackdated) will have a set. shoot him a PM and ask! :wink:

Apart form the decals :? I'm liking this very much. The silver finish shows off just how chunky the seat tube is. That in conjuction with the 1 1/8" headtube and skinny top and down tubes gives this the quintessential late 90's clockwork look. Very cool! 8) Now just get Gil to make you...

Nice, much better condition then mine... that's still awaiting a re-spray. I'm still toying with the idea of some frame mods on my anniversary clockwork.. Should be a good ride though. Enjoy! :D

Nice.. I really like the deep purple colour. Didn't Kona call it Egg Plant or something? Looks like you need some tension in the chain though? It just needs something to balance the stem.. maybe a red saddle? :D

You would be surprised, it is very easy to fade in. You get a really fine mist with the flouro orange plasticote. To be honest though, if Gaz wants the mini clockwork to match his, he doesn't want to use this, it is far brighter and more red the the orange on his clockwork.

Here you go... It is a lot darker in real life, but in the right way. I still need to do a lot of work on it, it needs fading and the lacquer to make it shine, but hopefully you get the idea. :D

Whooo there pony... I'm at work, you'll have to wait till tonight, also its no where near finished. Its just block orange and white.. no fade as of yet! I'll sort a few taster pics out though so you can get a feel for the effect. :wink:

Front mech size should be 28.6. I'll give it a miss on the flex stem, I'm going for a fully rigid theme on my clockwork, a proper BITD build with little or no bling (until I see some that I can't resist!), the kind of bike you did your paper round on. I've progressed nicely with the paint...

It's a 97 Lavadome.. Not worth sh*t.. look at all the rust..! :shock: I think the earth is reclaiming that one.. Leave some flowers by it and walk away. :( EDIT: Its not actually a 97, it doesn't have a v-brake lug on the back of the top tube.. It looks like someone has re-painted it...

I use my xbox 360 as a media centre extender, so all my films, music are stored on my PC upstairs and then piped down via my LAN to the front room. It doesn't work properly with wireless though! The xbox is a little noisy, but you soon forget about the fans. Cheap and easy solution, plus, if...
