    Thanks everyone. The other bike I compared the stud wear against is a Thorn. It seems to have a white coating on the studs opposed to bare metal like mine. I have to say I didn't look in great detail but it seems to help the noise and chatter. Is there a coating or resistant grease I could try...

    This is a really good shout! I tried the ones from my hope minis today and the holes don't line up, I was hoping that there might be a bit of wiggle room but there's no way. Motorcycle parts are a bit bigger so more likely.
