    my new sannie stickers

The Sandy's looking fandabby-dozy with it's new stickers. 8) Afraid I can't help with the head stickers. My vinyl man needs an image in jpeg style to print out. Am too much of a duffer to do this! I did chuckle watching the youtube video, my Sandy has the dents in the same places...

    servicing rock shox judy xc's?

Dead easy mate. You just need a 24mm socket to undo the top nut. Let out all the oil and take out the springs and plastic spacer thing. Undo the 5mm allen bolts at the bottom of the legs five turns after pulling off the damping adjuster on the right leg. Tap the allen bolts to separate the...

Hands up who wants a san andreas!!!!

That looks nice. The colours look really cool. I'm liking the XC style now rather than downhill long travel suspension. So into the cave........... The Judy's have been pulled apart and the travel has been reduced from 100mm right down to the minimum 60mm. The oil has been changed from 7.5...

Hands up who wants a san andreas!!!!

Thanks mate. 8) Wanted it to look like a factory build. It's all XT with matching Thomsons and floating Hope M4's. The forks are set at 100mm travel. Am going to reset them to 80mm to lower the front. Then move the rear shock down a few notches and tilt the seat subframe back to make it look...

Hands up who wants a san andreas!!!!

When a long rear shock is fitted or indeed the standard shock is moved down the adjustment holes on the frame the steering angle is steepened, shortening the wheelbase. I think it's easy to overdo a build on a Sandy. The frame itself is enough to look at, it's unique. The one's that are...

The GT that Pickle didn't buy.

Well after putting some new tyres, tubes on the Avalanche I've had a chance to give it a few rides out.....It's not too bad really. :) The Quadra 10's don't really do alot, might have to take them to bits to see whats inside. I'm used to Mag 21's with long travel kit, so the Quadras seem a...

Pickle wants this, but cant justify it.......

Have tipped it upside down and can't see a frame number under the bottom bracket. On the inside of the rear drop-outs are the usual 7005 stamps and H5C06346. Does this make any sense? :? What I did find was a wine bottle cork stuffed into the underside of the stem to keep the damp out. A...

Pickle wants this, but cant justify it.......

Am going to keep it just as it is. Unfortunately the tyres have perished after 15 years and will need replacing. Will be putting on some black Tioga XC's to show off the gold Mavic rims. Also some toe clips/straps and a bottle cage and that's about it. 8)

Ohh heck! .......I won it. Went and picked it up from the seller on Sunday. Really nice chap called Paul. He wondered why there had been so many views since the middle of last week! I told him it was on Retrobike with a link to the ebay sale. I think he may be a new member to the...
