    Jockey wheel

Hi, The bottom jockey wheel on my M950 XTR rear mech is worn and I am eventually switching to 9 speed at the same time. It's currently 10t as it's the original one. What can I replace it with?? Cheers Nico

    Wanted small HT frame

Guys, 10/10 for effort but unfort. I reckon the .243 is about twice too heavy and the Azonic won't do for lack of gears. He's only 35kgs or so and besides, he's already got a dirt BMX. Keep them coming though!! Cheers.

    Wanted small HT frame

Hi, Building a MTB for my 10-year old who is around 5ft so needs to be very small, ideally 14 inch or 15 inch. Will consider anything not too heavy, either disc or V-brakes. What have you got ? Nick

Selle Italia Flite Ti Kevlar - 1 owner

Hiya, Bought new in 1998. 210g on my scales. Structurally perfect. Cosmetically not. Not major tears but normal wear and should give another 15 years of bum action as it is or can be restored I suppose. White with blue patches, which I have unsuccesfully tried to convert to gold and then...

    Rear mech max sprocket ?

Cheers. m of course, point taken. In French we do call it "développement" too so I have no excuse!! Is the 12-36 a heavy low-end job? TBF I acually need 11 so I am hoping for a 11-36 9-speed if I don't go 10-speed. Are you saying my 950-GS rearmech will also cope with 36t????????? That...

Yes, that's what it is, M is meters, for each revolution of the cranks, it's the distance covered.

    Rear mech max sprocket ?

    I just got the ring today amusingly so I'll fit it as it is keeping the 11-32 as you say and then maybe go up to 34. The scary bit is when you look at the figures: Currently 32t x 24t = 1,56M 32t x 29t = 1.88M 34t x 29t = 1.77M 36t x 29t = 1.67M

    Rear mech max sprocket ?

Sorry, I should have explained. I am converting to single chain ring which will be a 29t as I am sacrifying the top end (which I only use on the road, ie never) to the benefit of the low end where I will only lose half a gear compared to my current triple M950 set-up. The question is, am I...

    Rear mech max sprocket ?

Hi, My M950 XTR rear mech has an official "max sprocket size" of 32t. Has anyone managed to fit a bigger cassette (34t) on a mech with such limitation ? Thanks. Nick

    Commencal VIP frame SOLD

I can't believe no one has bought that. It's a future classic frame... If I did not already have 3 of them... It's optimised for 80mm BTW but 100mm would be fine too I guess. Edit. LOL, just realised it did sell, what a twonk I am. Oh well, free bump??!!!!

Woke up this morning and thought....

Guys, I am now looking at an 10 speed cassette to minimise gear compromise as they do a 11-36. Does anyone know if my M950 rear mech will cope with that case both in terms of capacity and in terms of chain width? Also, will the custom ring be likely to cope with the super super narrow...

Woke up this morning and thought....

Cheers Fluffy. The cranks are spider less so HBC are my only resort for the moment for a 28. I'd better buy several in case they stop making them!! I still need to check compatibility with M950 as the site only list M952. They look very similar if not identical. If anyone had a definite...

This is how it would look from a gearing point of view on paper: I am so excited, I feel like I am 12 again.
