Re: Indeed and I take what you are saying on board, it's great to get some feedback of any sort really. Just thought I would also mention that I am not looking to make money, I would just like as much back from the £5100 as possible.

Re: It seems odd to me that when I won the bike for £5100 there were others bidding around the same sort of money, same with the hardtail at £5500! I can't understand how the same bike with the same provenance valued by the same "community" of JMC/90's mountain bike fans can now be worth less...

Re: Right, anyone got any ideas about how this could run? Perhaps there is a trusted MOD that could look after the funds, i.e the money for each raffle ticket bought goes into a MOD's paypal account then when the tickets are sold out the draw is made and witnessed somehow. I was...

Re: I have it on good authority from Jason's dad Jim that it was indeed raced at mammoth mountain, it is also stated on the certificate Jim gave me. Price wise it's down to the individual opinion of potential buyers, I am open to offers. I personally think it's worth every penny but needs must...

Re:  he was very polite and extremely enthusiastic, certainly made the forum sound very welcoming! There was talk of a group buy....would be great if many people, as opposed to just one, could have access to the bike.
