the HB stamp in the gusset identifys this as a Taiwan made frame not sure exactly when production shifted to the far east. 95 i think? a Taiwan frame is actually probably better made than a USA made Hoffman so although considered less desirable than a ramp room made frame is probably better...

isn't that one of the re released hotshots? apparently tamiya are doing quite a few rereleases of popular kits obviously the originals are the ones that are worth the money but at least you can use a rerelease with a no regrets about mullering an original :wink: there is some interest...

actually there s the Minox Leica M3 a modern 5mp digicam styled like the classic Leica M3 rangefinder but miniaturised :lol: pretty funky looking 8) pretty retro, in the styling at least :D

well i suppose the obvious reason here is that old digcams are crap i had one years ago that would only capture a usable image in bright sunshine! its almost like it was solar powered :roll: the TZ5 does it all really in a small package with a decent lens that lets you shoot wider than...

Laserlites had Tange TRX forks fitted (in most cases) which can still be found in NOS condition for sensible money! just add the correct stickers & go :wink: the TRX were the slightly ovalled forks the perfectly round forks were off the KZ1 & are Mega rare & Mega expensive!

if you wanted more manual control but wanted to stay with a compact you could try to get a Panasonic Lumix LX3 (demand outstripping supply!) more features than i can type out now bearing in mind i'm up at 5 so i'll post a couple of informative links...
