    Re: I have not received any further news. Though I was able to pull the post out of the seat tube by twisting the post (with the saddle installed on the post) and pulling at the same time. This required more pulling force than you would think it requires.

    I have what I was told is a 1995 model Rock Shox Judy SL. The bottom of the lower leg has what is in the photo. A metal bolt or rod protruding out, with an adjusting thumb screw. Is this original to the fork? Or has the fork been modified (hopefully enhanced) in some way?
