    Wanted...medium length Cinelli road stem

Sounds perfect. I guess 1A is the style of stem, and they are all the same size on the bar measurement? TBH anything between 80-110mm should be fine...the long one I have (135) is OK but it's just too stretched out for a tourer! PM me your details and I can sort payment for you...paypal...

    Wanted...medium length Cinelli road stem

Little bump! Rode the bike last night after having converted it to a useful tourer with mudguards, rack and panniers...but nope, that stem is still too long! Anyone??? Condition really not that important, just needs to be Cinelli so it fits my bars. Thanks!

    Wanted...medium length Cinelli road stem

As it says in the title really...my current stem is about 140mm long...too long for me! I'm after something about 100mm, needs to fit 1" threaded road steerer, and it's not a problem if it has a few scratches as long as it's in reasonable condition. Anyone got one? PM me! Thanks in...

    1991 Marin Pine Mountain

Beautiful. First mountain bike I rode that had under bar shifters as opposed to thumbies...had a go on my mate's round the car park and I was blown away. My Ridgeback 602 suddenly seemed crap! Nice find!

The one and only "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread

Hmmm, not sure if I'm posting in the right thread here as it's in the MTB section but does seem to have some roadies in it. I've got some storage space issues, which are almost sorted, but I really am trying to decide what to do with my Claud Butler Dalesman which I resotred earlier this year...

    Singlespeed conversion...

Oh I dunno...all of a quandry now! I don't know if the odd trip to London has turned me into some saddo fashion victim, I just really, really like the clean look of an SS bike. But some of you guys say it would be a shame to change it...and I guess I did scour eBay for cheap second hand...

    Singlespeed conversion...

Help...I need some advice on converting to a singlespeed. I tried some other forums but people did not even know that 27" wheels and screw on freehubs ever even existed! Basically, I rebuilt this Claud Butler a few months ago but I'm sorry to say that I just have not ridden it...

    Erm...ahem...er...Singletrack World forums...

OK so a bit cheeky asking on here, but has anyone else had issues with STW? I registered 2 weeks ago, profile is created but account not activated. I've emailed them but got nothing back. It's really annoying as there was stuff in the classified bit that I could not reply to! Any thoughts?

FS or swap...Mavic Crossride 6106 radial spoke wheels

I've got two identical front wheels...radial spoked Mavic Crossride 6106s. Yellow sealed hubs, black butted spokes, QR axles but no skewers. Good condition, on road use only as far as I know. Hubs run perfectly, rims are true and not dented. Obviously rim brake compatible only, not discs...

FS-Free Kona Fire Mountain frame only-teeny crack

That was quick! No idea what year, but here it is. It's a bit ropey, I bought it cheap from a mate to get the forks off it to put on my other half's bike. Give me a call to sort pickup, 07740 533045. Cheers Iain

FS-Free Kona Fire Mountain frame only-teeny crack

I'm going to throw this away as it has a tiny crack in the top tube to head tube joint and it's basically worthless. Just in case case for some obscure reason anyone wants it and wants to weld it I thought I'd post it here first. Collection only...I'm in Rugby. Cheers

I've finished my Claud Butler rebuild...(56k warning!)

Nice one, thanks for all the kind words! Took it for a first ride yesterday (headbadge stuck on too!) and it felt great...admittedly a little harsh after my full susser MTB but it felt really quick compared to it too! Needs a bit more TLC as I obviously had not adjusted the cones properly...

I've finished my Claud Butler rebuild...(56k warning!)

All done! Will take it out for a ride today if the weather holds! Two things still to get actually, a new back axle as the current one is bent, and also a headbadge decal is currently on it's way from eBay. I have to say I'm really chuffed with it and hopefully it will last another 20 years...

I've finished my Claud Butler rebuild...(56k warning!)

They're OK actually, it's the angle and the fact that as there's no cable they have moved out and up a bit. With the blocks at the bottom of the adjustment they're fine...just!

Thanks for the encouragement guys...Dave O, no need, nasty modern (ish) clicky Shimanos ready to go on I'm afraid! Some update pictures...
