Yep!! It's on re-release Not sure if it's been 'digitally remastered' or not though?? The band still makes me smile.. 'Marvin Berry & The Starlighters', & he puts a call through to his cousin Chuck........ (at least he didn't ask for a long distance call to 'Memphis Tennessee')

Think you have a head for heights ..... check this!

Wowee!! What a climb, the late great Fred Dibnah would have loved that one :D (even though it didn't have any masonry work in it) I think the figure '1700 feet' was mentioned, as he got to the (actual) antenna base, so it's not far off the height of the CN Tower in Toronto. And...

I actually saw the fabled 'Old Ned of Wakefield' on Monday morning  I was driving past the end of his avenue, & saw his in his garden, so doubled back to say "Hello" His eyesight must be going, as he peered at the XKR, as though to think 'do I know anyone with one of those, or...

Looks damned fine!! A friend of mine used to have a 'FRO' back in the early 90's He bought it new, with Acu-Trax forks. If I remember, & can place his bikes in chronological order, I believe he did a deal for the Marin 'Team Titanium' frame he had before hand? (or it may have been the...

Oh but it was Cameron Diaz (<drools continuously>) with some midget. She's still utterly gorgeous Iwonder if they still produce the 5.0 V10 diesel But it's still not a Range Rover is it? (by that I mean the real one. not the 'drug-dealer' Sport)

    Other obsessions?

Oh believe me!!, that race hurt!! :D This climb, up Laddow Rocks, on the 'return leg' (we went as far down as 'Woodhead Pass'/A628, before turning back north) was just a bit scary

    Other obsessions?

I'm somewhere in the middle of this bunch of lunatics  (last Sunday; the 18th) I entered, & finished, the Holme Moss Fell-Race (17 miles/4000 feet of climbing)

    lottery car ?

AC Cobra 427 (just a bit quicker than my present XKR) Audi RS4 Avant (see a saloon at school most days, sounds bloody awesome) 'Eleanor' :D (the Nic Cage/Anjelina Jolie version) Range Rover TDV8 (but on 'proper' 19" tyres, not the stupid drug-dealer 22" rubber-bands) '68 Camaro SS...

it's okay, but like you, I guess??, I've got used to the power/acceleration & it feels slow at times  I did fancy trying to find a VXR-8 to px it against, but SWMBO fancies a new shape XKR. an XFR, or an Aston-Martin V8 next year :D
