Talking of retro fun with Mr Crud..... I was out on the moors with him last weekend. He is 71 now and absolutely tore my legs off all afternoon. That lad can still pedal a bike 🤪

We will be heading over to the Yorkshire Cycle Hub in Fryupdale so no worries on food. I'll be giving Phil a heads up on numbers in the week leading up to it. Route is a cracker with two long moorland dscents and some fine vistas. A fitting send off for a top bloke!

Several hours later the frame is almost ready for paint. I gave it a quick skim of filler, sanded and several coats of high build rattle can primer. It’s had a guide coat and now needs flatting and a final coat of primer to cover the high spots that have rubbed through. The first colour will go...

Nowt wrong with brown cars @legrandefromage

It’s been a while since I progressed on this project. I’ve picked the frame up from the blasters and although it’s solid there is quite a bit of pitting that will need fettling before paint.

I'll try and make this one. Its a cracking route.

How are everyones plans coming along for this? Is anyone planning of making a weekend of it? camping etc? Im thinking of taking the friday off and staying over. I might even have a beer or two
