I have a Genesis which i bought in september 94 and apart from the colour looks identical to yours.

The powder coat man said it would last ten years but i feel i will change back to something close to the original colour a lot sooner. I do like that orange though, bit like the german council wagons.

Hello. Been a long time but finally got round to doing something. Went down the powder coating route until i can afford a proper paint job but must say the finish is better than i thought. Hopefully a couple more weeks and i'll be riding again.

I have a 9-5 Aero in cosmic blue which i love but can be expensive. My fourth Saab after my Dad passed on the bug. Went to Swedish Day in May which was great......enough saab's to make you dribble.

I haven't cycled up there for 15 yrs or so but used to most weeks. didn't have a favourite but was always attracted towards the pine trees. couldn't race round because i had to cycle back to Wellington so nearly always cut back through Crowcombe, Lydeard st Lawrence .

Last time i was down there was in 1992. Stayed in Mittenwald, no cycling but walked up Karwendel and came down on the cable car. Loads of walks around Sharnitz, Lautersee, along the Isar. Best holiday i had.

Just outside Wiveliscombe, west somerset. within reach of Quantocks & Exmoor but with three little children going out for rides is restricted to early mornings at the moment which suits me at the moment. hope to take the oldest one for his first ride on the quantocks soon.

I did originally think of sending it back to Roberts for a respray but gave up after not getting a reply to emails. Ralph Coleman cycles in Taunton recommended Argos so will have a look. Not sure on colour yet,might stick to the same, was thinking of a light grey. Hopefully parts won't be stuck...

Re: What modernish petrol estate car? I've been a bit of a saab fan since the 80's and have a 2003 9-5 aero. probably not the cheapest to run but i don't do a huge mileage. always a joy to drive and the most comfy seats.
