Spring for Rock Shox Duke U-turn

The Italian distributor is www.amgsrl.com, trouble is you can't buy directly form their website, but I found out that www2.hibike.it/main.php also carries a range of springs for RS Duke U-turn. I bought two springs there, one for my RS Duke and one to lower a Recon U-Turn. The lowered...

    Marzocchi XC Forks

I think the higher number (400, 500, 600, etc,) depends on the year of production. The higher the number the more recent the fork is and the longer the travel.

    New sus forks for old

On my Hei Hei I'm running a Recon U-Turn lowered by swapping the standard spring with the one from a Duke U-turn. This way I get the stiffness of a modern fork, a short axle to crown lenght, and some extra travel for the downhills. Air forks from Rock Shox can also be lowered by using...

Spring for Rock Shox Duke U-turn

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement spring for a Duke U-turn? The Italian distributor for Rock Shox has 2 types of springs left but they are too hard for my current weight. Used springs from board members are welcome.

The one and only "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread

Any idea of the value of pair of 99 Manitou SX Carbon? The forks are working ok and there are the usual marks and little paint retouching due to a few years of use. Thank you.

the genesis story phil collins is back with an over haul

The head angle on the first bike looks very slack. Is that bike supposed to be run with such a long fork? If not you may want to lower it, it's pretty easy.

    1995 Marzocchi

Hi anyone here knows the AC length of Marzocchi XC 600 from 1995? I'd like to fit some newer fork on my Ti Hei Hei. Right now the fork I'm using is a Manitou SX Carbon (70 mm. of travel / 440 mm. AC length). Do you think a 25 mm. more would prove too much? If so, will it be just a...

reducing fork axle to crown length

I also think that in order to get more sag from a spring loaded U-turn fork a lighter spring should be fitted. What I'm looking into is a way to lower the stanchions a bit further inside the sliders.

reducing fork axle to crown length

I'm looking into fitting a Recon U-turn ( 85 - 130 mm. of travel) to an older frame currently running a Manitou SX carbon (70mm. of travel). Is there a way to lower the fork from its lower setting of another 15 to 20 mm. in order to bring back the geometry to where it was?
