what is the axle to crown lenght? have the forks been serviced? Coil or air? If air, do you need a special pump?

I was thinking of changing the Mag 21 on my steel Stupjumper FS 1995. The Mag 21 has 40/50 mm. of travel ( around 2 inches ). Will a 70/80 mm. fork put too much stress on the frame?

the thing is I never heard of anyone using grease or antiseize on handlebars/stem. Usually people are worried of seapost and frame fusing together. Will the bars spin inside the stem if I use grease?

Hi, I just bought a TI bar + stem. The bars ( Titec ) are supposed to be run with a shim. The shim seems to be made of some kind of alloy. Should I use anti seize to prevent the shim to become one with the bars and or the stem?

I'd drop the manitou fork and use a Mag 21 SL. There's one on Ebay at the moment

since the bar is supposed to be used with a shim, the overall diameter (bar + shim) should be 25.4, right?
