Very nice!!! Where did you get the artwork? I will be finishing my 1975 Italvega Super Speciale some time around the years end and begining the full restoration on my 1989/1990 Paganini Mistral. Looking for art work for it.

shimano freehub length vs model info

Forgot again, yes it is a HG free hub. I also rechecked my cassette stack height and it comes out to 36.75mm. If I have to add a spacer to tighten things up, that won't' be a problem. Oh, I'm using a standard 10 speed chain now. An Ultra narrow Campy chain will work better with the smaller cogs...

shimano freehub length vs model info

NOW I can give more info about what I am doing! The reason the actual length is important is, currently I am running 9 Miche Shimano cogs (10 speed spacers, 2.1 mm thick, with 1.7 mm Miche 10 speed cassette, minus 1cog). They fit the 32.9mm long hub but a full 10 speeds would be better! That's...

shimano freehub length vs model info

I have asked lots of questions and seem to get muddled answers. I would like to know what freehub spline lengths are available from Shimano. My current free hub is a 7 speed and the spline length is 32.9 km from the flange to the right end. I am looking for one which is about 37.5 km long. The...

hope the weather breaks for you I just reread my last posting to you and I really don't like the "autofill" function of this phone. I meant to say regarding the wheelsets, "here is where the purests will shudder". Also, since the last post, I have changed the cassette to a Miche Shimano 10spd...

My first build bike: harmony between old and new

what gearing do you have? I don't recall the gearing choice. What kind of terrain do you see yourself riding in? When I built the Paganini Mistral, I thought a 7spd rear cassette would be ok. After putting 200 miles on, I went to a 9spd. Fortunately the Campagnolo Chorus rear derailler was a...

My first build bike: harmony between old and new

Nicely done! Looks like a "well done" to you. I restored bikes this year when I found an Italian frameset on ebay. It was the right size, the original paint & artwork were original and I fell in love with it. Since restoring it, I have not been disappointed. Hope you have many hours of...

    Paganini frame Columbus tubing INFORMATION??

Restoration: accurate or? I'll jump in on this one. I believe if you are planning to keep and ride a restored vintage bike, you should be as accurate as possible. That is to say, you can have the look and..... the luxury of modern upgrades. I personally have chrippled hands, so you will notice...

    Paganini frame Columbus tubing INFORMATION??

Paganini Hi Guys, I just posted my late '80s Paganini Mistral the other day (see my album: Tim Doland). My paint is MUCH better and original with original artwork. Bought it on ebay from Netherlands, frameset only. Yes, it has Gipiemme drop outs, chrome stays and Columbus tubing and chrome fork...

    1984? paganini super corsa *finished*

Paganini Mistral Hi Mr Lee, I was blown away when I saw your Paganini! I have a Paganini Mistral with (I believe) original paint and silk screen. I bought it as a frameset only and did a partial restoration. I used Campy Chorus derailleurs, brakeset front. &I rear, 39/53t chainwheel on Campy...
