The Dekerf would be of great interest to me if you pop them back on the market. Hopefully before too long as once the baby comes my disposable income is set to be swallowed up ;)
menace to society? Threat to the public? What a waste of time and resources putting him in prison. Assuming he does 18 months it will cost us over 30k to keep him warm and dry. Community sentencing is the answer here.
Given their success in the realms of cycling advocacy we should all be joining the CTC anyway. BCF is great for racers but i am not aware that they are especially active in other aspects of riding.
I've got a little Rockhopper frameset in the loft that the missus used to use. It is proper tatty in terms of the paint but it is about a 15" and short in reach. Circa 97 steel model in silver.
How very STW of you all! The guy was someone's son/brother/husband and now he is dead at the age of 33. I was no fan of their work but a bit of respect might be nice. RIP to the lad.
I commute most days and sometimes play a bit fast and loose with road positioning depending on what feels safest/fastest at the time. One absolute though is never getting the wrong side of a lorry nor having to stop along side one.
We are using UPS to ship to London at present. It bugs me as they resent delivering to residential addresses and charge for redeliveries whereas the RM would hang onto stuff at a convenient depot. Strike will be a pain as it'll all have to go UPS and then folk'll get hacked at having to trek...
A few have tried to make a case on STW but the UK media and gov't have successfully managed to convince the general public that employees taking a stand is not right and proper.
Fair play to you. I mean OK, your stuff all has that funny smell to it and your TVs all have cracks in the glass. The Hi-Fi will only rewind stuff and the coffee table has books under one leg. But you are living the money saving dream!
So it is CEN compliant now and that is about it? We had one in the workshop yesterday. Mechanic had to spend an hour reaming and facing the headtube to get the CK headset in.
Nice looking bike all the same.
