This is my Mountain Klein, I have had it for donkeys but I feel it is time to say goodbye to the old girl. You guys here are the fountain of knowledge and I was wondering how much I should ask for her. Not in great nic, but no dents or cracks!

    1991 Claud Butler MTB Range

Very true - they were built to last. I had a huge crash on mine, crashed into the back of a van at about 20mph. Smashed my hand to bits - the bike had a couple of scratches  Oh and a wonky bar end :D The tyres were ground controls, well worth worth the weight!!!

    Titus Motolite

"Bare alloy, finish of choice", lovely, I have always like titus frames. How does the finish hold up, does it corrode? I have just paint stripped my alloy commuter bike. I wondered if I had done a silly thing with leaving bare alloy open to road salt and dirt.

    Wives rides!

my wife loves her bike What she likes best is that I built it just for her and it fits like a glove! Had a hard time trying to get a small XC frame, so I decided to build it around a light jump frame. (Building one for my daughter now :?)

    2005 Trimble - Completed - 15lb 4oz

Cool bike, love it. I want to go for the same fork on my bike (disc version) but I really don't like the Trigon logo on the sides, did you get the fork like that or did you sand the logos off?

1997/98 Trek OCLV 9900 Pro Issue (VW Team)

Nice bike. Is that a e-type front mech, and if it is, is there a bolt holding it to the frame? I am building a carbon bike of my own and have a e-type front mech but no fixing hole in the frame, so it would have to only be held by the BB cup. Cheers

Okay, I have posted this one before, but as there is now a Kona thread I couldn't help myself. Here it is, with both road and off-road tyres (very quick on road and I have caught a few rodies in my time, they don't like it much) :D I know some will not approve of the graphics, and I am...

    why is trek uncool/unpopular?

Treks are unpopular in my opinion because the bought up Gary Fisher, Bontrager, klein and Greg Lemond bikes. Because they were such a large corporation they could afford to buy out all of the smaller companies, and get rid of a lot of the competition in one fowl swoop. Now all the companies are...
