I get that comment quite often, but I don't quite get it.
I've got my fair share of back problems, but it always feels better after a ride. I hop on, lean forward a bit to plant my hands on the bars, and enjoy having zero pressure on my lower back 😊
New tube for the front wheel, new seat post, and new pedals
I read the other day that oil slick is the new purple ano. So I guess it's OK to mix and match 😃😈
The few remaining decals
And the original importer's sticker on the seat tube
Just as I was about to go for a test ride last night, I heard a "pop-pfsst" from the front tyre (¤%& Schwalbe xx-light tubes keep failing on me).
Luckily I had the original front wheel on hand, on the summer house cruiser.
So today I went on a ride down to the harbour
And out to my...
Yesterdays ride
Down to the harbour to relax and read my book
Then out to "the secret trails" in a former industrial area
There are a lot of blackberry plants out there. So I got a bit scratched up
And tore the scab on my right knee from last weeks funride. Such is the price of...
I went on an afternoon ride yesterday, armed with a couple of IPA's and a good book.
First down to the harbour
Then I went a little further, and found this improvised bench, which was the perfect place to sit and read
Or just enjoy the view
You can't argue with taste. In my view, mudguards and rear racks totally ruin the aesthetics of an mtb - Practical, but ugly ;)
I've added a front rack, though, so I can use the bike for grocery runs. And a refreshing beverage holder on the bars 🍻
