Given the headset and bottom bracket are frequently heavier there will likely be around a 0.5kg difference, but obviously there will be variation. 500 is actually OK for a runabout.

Dawes also made a Scorpio in the 80s, Obviously a popular name! IIRC, means If I Remember Correctly. Some pic might help those with good knowledge give a bit more info. Anything in working and good nick for a fiver is a bargain though!

Agreed, great mech, i would have sold you mine except its currently attached to a bike! Its running 8 speed indexed no problems. :)
