First quick test done. Tested on a piece of card. There are smears and some bleeding, but I took the stencil off when the paint was still wet. But as a proof of concept it worked.

The photo flatters it quite a bit. It had been previously repainted by Bob Jackson. There are lots of chips and under the bb housing there is huge patch of rust.

The one I have at the moment is an 84 grand course frame. What I would really like is a pr-6000. But as that's highly unlikely due to rarity, I'm looking at the brand new ones from the Panasonic POS.

I've just bought a Raleigh Quadra frame. Tbh probably overpaid a little, but while be got it I'm going to make the most of it. Was thinking of stripping it to bare metal and giving it a facelift. How does that sound? Change white to pearlescent and the ref, yellow and blue to quite a shiny...

The choice of riding the hill was taken out of my hands, due to the crashes in front. So first my best wishes for a speedy recovery to the 2 riderss airlifted to hospital. My official time for the 86m I did was 7h 49m. Unofficial 6h 25m taking off the time we were held up.

Report to ebay and campag. If they get taken down that will answer the question But imo a reproduction would have the same quality as the original and the rights granted by the owner of the design. The item in question are not fakes just cheap copies.
