I cleaned it up got a powder coat and raffled it off. raised £400 for my charity ride.

I'll have to give the car boots a go or find a tip like hamster's with a shop. just seems a shame loads of bikes that coud be put back on the road end up as a couple of quids worth of scrap metal

Whoever bought this bike from preloved owes me a fiver :evil: I joined only to find it had already been sold. Some lucky sod got it for £40. if the buyer is on here I'm dying to know if that is an SR crank set or did you strike gold and get a drilled Super Record?

missed out on the vitesse, due to work I couldn't get to it quick enough. would never have guessed yours didn't start out ad a hybrid

531c with full 600 ultegra for just over £100 or an 18-23 raleigh for over £300 no brainer. going to keep an eye on this one and see what it ends up at. edit:just been dropped from £325 to £310
