I am restoring a RIH from around 1985. Been searching for some decals for the frame but could not find any. Any ideas about where to find them?. Thank you all.

Know of any raw-rubber/amber/butterscotch coloured 700c tire

Hi! I supposse you want clinchers, not tubulars. Schwalbe has the Luganos with skinwalls. Michelin Dynamic Classic is another option. Regards

    Disc Brakes on Road Bikes?

Waiting for this for a long time. Weighing 95 kg and living in a hilly, rainy place, rim brakes are no good. They indeed are good when rims are new, but after one or two seasons of riding in the wet the brake surface is damaged and they simply perform very poorly.

    Campagnolo Groupset Identification

Rear mech is a Chorus. To identify the front, look if the spring is chromed, if it is chromed is a Chorus (or better) Athena has a grey non-chromed spring.

    Suicide bars, anyone?

I used marktplaas only once and everything went smoothly. No problems in posting to Spain and ok to use Paypal. Nice Dutch chap. Curiously, he had a Spanish girlfriend and spoke some Spanish.

Forum suggestions - splitting the road classifieds

I agree with the ideas above. Splitting the for sale in complete bikes/parts would help. More splitting would be time consuming and confusing in my opinion. Keeping old posts in some form is a must I think, very useful for reference. The idea of Tel of a space for traders is interesting, also...

    Painting Look pedals

Hi I have a pair of old Look pedals that I would like to use, however, the white paint is really scratched. I thought about powdercoating them because I think normal paint would not stand. As far as I know powdercoat needs about 200ºC to cure and I doubt if the rear plastic clasp will be OK...
