    Reflex ALX 6000 Series

Re: Thanks Gerard. From what I gather, Peter Grisley licensed his welded aluminum/lug method to Reflex, Salt Lake City. The bikes in the 1991 catalogue bear a striking resemblance to my 1993 Peugeot-Grisley. Made in the US for European sales, the Peugeot spec included the addition of Rockshox...

Talk to me about GRISLEY bikes

Here is my 93 Peugeot Grisley Team Line. Grisley built this one for Peugeot. It was sold in Germany to a US Army soldier who brought it home to the US. It's complete except for the Grisley buttons that are missing from the top of the seat stays where the brake cable guide attaches. If anyone...

Information for potential 1993 Peugeot team line build

    Reflex ALX 6000 Series

Thanks for the RetroDecals lead. I noticed that you have a Grisley. Mine is almost complete. The only things missing are the little Grisley Bear medallions on the top of the seat stays. Someone pried them off. I'm sure that they are rare as hens teeth.....but if you ever hear of a couple being...

    Reflex ALX 6000 Series

Re: Here is my 1988 Reflex ALX 99. I'm missing the front badge/decal. Does anyone know how I might find another? The frame is somewhat similar to my Grisley Team Line.

    1997 Infusion M-X-C

Re: Yes. I'm not sure of the numbers. The frames were produced in Taiwan. Apparently they couldn't compete with the likes of Trek, Specialized and Schwinn so numbers weren't big. Frames were available at Cambria Bikes for a few years.

ManitouComp 80/100. 25 pounds in present build. Created as a venture by experienced mountain bike engineers and builders...

I picked up the 92 Alpinestars Al-Mega earlier this week only to discover a crack in the head tube. I found it intriguing that the aluminum bike had the titaniumn model's decal set applied. After researching the Alpinestars bike brand, which originated in my hometown of San Luis Obispo...

    Reflex ALX99 1988

The original Vento Propizio saddle really wasn't very attractive. I opted for a contemporary seat that worked well with the post modern feel of the bike. The attached pic showing the Vento Propizio is part of a factory promo for the ALX99.

    Reflex ALX99 1988

I recently acquired this 1988 Reflex ALX99. The Easton E9 main triangle is screwed into Ishiwata EX CrMo head tube and stays. Fork is also EX. I replaced the after market handlebar with a Reflex bar, added Oury grips, Cutter seat, new chain and original Shimano brake pads. Also found original...
