XTR Mech
Hi
just double checked and no scratches , its in perfect condition
looks a bit wet cause i had just brought it in from the (very) cold shed , so it had a bit of condensation on it
I have a mint , never used XTR Mech M901 in origional box with destructions
34.9mm clamp Top Pull
Im looking to swap for a similar example with 28.6mm clamp if possible
Xt front mech 28.6 clamp Bottom Pull version in pretty good condition
some scuffs to inner cage , that would polish out , rest of Mech is pretty free of scuffs or scrapes
id describe as VGC for its age

Unfortunately the threaded steerer is a little too short & i want to go ahead anyway
is the steerer tube replaceable on its own ? , or am i faced with trying to find a complete crown?

Cantilevers
Ive got some SRP titanium cantilever brakes if you want to go a bit upmarket (a full bikes worth i think )

i remember the Mountain Cycle San Andreas being one of the first bikes to feature upside down suspension forks (where the lower legs travel up inside the uppers)
Technically these suspension forks are by far the best performing as the upper crown & legs can be far stiffer
